Who we are

Nationally Generation Rent works on issues including security of tenure, rent control, mandatory licensing of landlords and lettings agencies, working for increased local authority enforcement of existing housing related legislation.

Local groups choose the issues that are most important to them locally. To help define those issues for Manchester please join us at our first meeting.

How we got started

As part of the Generation Rent AGM in Manchester, we will be pulling together local renters and other stakeholders to determine the best way forward for Generation Rent Manchester. All are welcome, so please come and be a part of the beginnings of a powerful voice for Manchester renters.

How we help

  • hwh-2.pngStrengthen the voice of private tenants by developing a national network of private renters and local private renters’ groups
  • hwh-3.pngEncourage private renters to set up local groups in their own areas
